With image acquisition, a mobile robot automatically detects and records cracks in the indoor environment. In this system, operator performs diagnosis work with specialized knowledge while the robot is only intended for gathering information regarding cracks.
An automatic alignment system for conference desk robot is developed. Each desk robot can move in all directions with omni directional wheels. Positioning is achieved with odometry, without any external sensor. A main PC is used to manage the alignment with condition monitoring and motion commands communicated through a wireless connection. By providing motion path, various forms of desk alignment can be achieved.
