Development of Automatic Alignment System for Conference Desk Robot with All Directions Mobility

An automatic alignment system for conference desk robot is developed. Each desk robot can move in all directions with omni directional wheels. Positioning is achieved with odometry, without any external sensor. A main PC is used to manage the alignment with condition monitoring and motion commands communicated through a wireless connection. By providing motion path, various forms of desk alignment can be achieved.

Object Transporting System with Multiple Robots
